The logistics: course-finder apps list thousands of free public courses (odds are excellent one hides in a park you already know), etiquette is simple (let faster groups play through, shout a heads-up if a disc goes rogue), and the community runs friendly weekly leagues nearly everywhere — beginner divisions included. Disc golf people are famously evangelical; showing up alone converts to showing up with friends within weeks.
